Set against the sun-soaked beauty of Lake Tahoe in 1980, TAHOE follows Gene Baker, a washed-up high-roller who’s been cut off by the very casino that once fed his ego and addiction. Humiliated and broke, Gene sets out to prove he’s smarter than the system...

constructing a massive, ingeniously engineered bomb he claims no one can disarm. As the device is planted inside the lakeside casino, authorities scramble to respond but quickly realize they’re up against something far more sophisticated - and far more personal - than a simple extortion plot.

On the outside, ambitious local reporter Roxy Lake sees the story as her shot at something bigger. Shut out by the casino and dismissed by officials, she digs on her own, following fragments of evidence and instinct. In the aftermath of the explosion, Roxy pieces together the identity of the man behind the bomb.
