Set in 1975, "SNAPPER" twists a carefree escapade into a fight for survival. Local disappearances hint to something lurking beneath the water of Turtle Lake.
A nearby abandoned military base has poisoned the lake, mutating snapping turtles into relentless predators. When the friends are hunted one by one they are forced to confront not just the creatures, but a deadly secret that was never meant to surface.
